YDreams Global Signs First Arkave VR Deal in the U.S. with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games

VANCOUVER, B.C. - YDreams Global Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: YD) ("YDreams" or the "Company") a leading designer and developer of augmented and virtual reality experiences, today announced that the first U.S. installation of its Arkave VR platform will be at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games located in Marietta, Georgia. The 100,000 sq. ft facility features high-speed super-karts, multi-level European-style tracks, state-of-of-the-art arcade, XD motion theater, professional VR racing simulators.

The Andretti team had a firsthand demonstration of the Arkave VR in Orlando Florida while attending the IAAPA Conference in mid-November and came away extremely impressed by the experience. Discussions advanced quickly, and the two sides signed the agreement shortly after the conclusion of the conference.

The installation will mark the first U.S. Family Entertainment Center (FEC) deal for Arkave VR, which was officially released earlier this month. The Arkave VR Arena will be installed in time for the Holiday Season.

"There are very few companies that understand the value of high-volume, intense entertainment for consumers in a family setting, and Andretti Indoor Karting immediately saw the potential for Arkave VR in their facilities," said Daniel Japiassu, CEO of YDreams Global. "We want to grow this next-generation VR experience with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, as they open more locations across the U.S."

"We are always seeking the next wave of entertainment for our centers, and with multi-user VR, we wanted something that was not as strenuous as back packs for our customers, and we also sought a company that had the design capabilities to help facilitate VR on a long-term basis," said Lee Pitts, CEO of Andretti Indoor Karting. "We have seen the future of FEC entertainment, and it is clearly an immersive, VR-driven experience. YDreams captivates the imagination of the VR consumer and understands how to create a fun experience that is repeatable."

"The early reactions to Arkave VR from both hard-core gamers and casual gamers has been tremendous, and we continue to make necessary modifications to the platform," said Francisco Chaves, head of Arkave VR. "The U.S. market offers a wide range of opportunities for Arkave VR, and our relationship with Andretti is the first step on this journey."
